Great Atlantic Resources Corp. (TSXV: GR) has unveiled exceptional gold results from its fifth drill hole (GP-24-161) at the Jaclyn Main Zone (JMZ) on its Golden Promise Gold Property in central Newfoundland. The company’s latest exploration efforts have delivered two significant gold-bearing quartz vein intersections, advancing its prospects for an upcoming bulk sample program in 2025.

Key Highlights from Drill Hole GP-24-161

  1. Vein 1: Intersected 13.16 g/t gold over 1.67 meters, including:
    • 10.92 g/t gold over 1.04 meters
    • 16.87 g/t gold over 0.63 meters
  2. Vein 2: Yielded an exceptional 120.89 g/t gold over 0.44 meters.

The drill hole targeted the gold-bearing JMZ, with visible gold identified in both quartz veins. These findings underscore the high-grade potential of the property, particularly within the planned bulk sample area.

Strategic Importance of the Results

These high-grade gold intercepts reinforce the resource potential at the JMZ and support Great Atlantic’s strategic plans to extract a 2,700-tonne bulk sample in 2025. The company’s collaboration with Novamera Inc. will utilize innovative Surgical Mining™ technology, enabling precision extraction at reduced costs compared to traditional methods.

The recent results follow earlier drill successes at JMZ in 2024, which included:

  • 34.88 g/t gold over 0.53 meters in GP-24-157
  • 12.97 g/t gold over 0.64 meters in GP-24-158
  • 19.12 g/t gold over 0.57 meters in GP-24-160

Together, these results demonstrate continuity of high-grade mineralization in the zone, further de-risking the project.

Unlocking Value Through Innovation

In addition to traditional core sampling, Great Atlantic is leveraging Novamera’s proprietary Guidance Tool. This advanced technology creates a 3D orebody model, enhancing drill precision and resource understanding. The integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning ensures optimized outcomes for the bulk sampling program.

The 2024 drilling campaign, fully funded and conducted with the support of Canada’s Global Innovation Cluster for digital technologies, has laid the groundwork for a transformative approach to gold mining.

What’s Next?

Great Atlantic plans to:

  • Conduct a third down-dip drill hole early in 2025 to further delineate JMZ mineralization.
  • Initiate the fully funded 2025 bulk sample program to confirm gold grades and refine the Surgical Mining™ methodology.

With a NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource of 357,500 tonnes grading 10.4 g/t gold (119,900 ounces), the Golden Promise Property remains a flagship asset for Great Atlantic in the gold-rich Exploits Subzone of Newfoundland.

Investment Outlook

The drill results solidify Great Atlantic’s potential as a high-grade gold developer in Atlantic Canada. As the company advances toward bulk sampling and resource expansion, its innovative mining approach could attract significant attention from both institutional and retail investors.

For gold-focused investors, Great Atlantic Resources offers exposure to cutting-edge mining technologies and high-grade assets in a politically stable jurisdiction. With the JMZ project gaining momentum, the company is well-positioned for substantial growth in 2025.
